Course Description:This course aims to equip analytical instrument maintenance engineers as well as QC analysts
with the skills required to prepare preventive maintenance schedules
and teach them how to carry out
basic preventive maintenance on
key analytical equipment (HPLC, dissolution apparatus, Karl Fisher,
UV-Spectrophotometer, GC, balances and pH meter).
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the types of maintenance from emergency maintenance to preventive maintenance (PM)
- Troubleshooting and solve problems in your facility.
- Identify basic PM procedures
- Develop a PM program (PM Scheduling)
- Execute a PM program (PM Implementation)
- Communicate the value of preventive maintenance to management
