Central to USP’s achievements are the contributions of numerous global scientific experts who volunteer their time and knowledge in USP’s Council of Experts, Expert Committees, Expert Panels, and Joint Standards-Setting Subcommittees. These Expert Volunteers work to identify new and different approaches to providing up-to-date, science-based public standards that serve as quality benchmarks for medicines, foods, and dietary and herbal supplements in the U.S. and around the world.
